Lane Sentes

Lane has a Masters degree in social work and believes strongly in the importance of doing their own therapeutic work. Lane shares that they would never ask clients to explore territory they have not explored themselves. Through their own ongoing therapy and reflective practice, Lane remains grounded, self-aware, and attuned—allowing them to be fully present and compassionate with the individuals they support.

Lane works from a client-centered, nonjudgmental approach, recognizing that each person’s experiences, histories, and coping strategies are unique. They focus on creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel heard and understood. Lane practices with warmth, curiosity, and genuine connection, emphasizing the importance of building trust and working collaboratively. Their hope is that clients feel comfortable coming exactly as they are—walking together at a pace that feels right.

Lane uses an integrative, strength-based therapeutic approach, drawing from Psychodynamic Therapies, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
